Ecotherapy Workshop
To integrate art and memorialize the ceremony, there will be two photographers on site. These individuals will be tasked with respectfully capturing this process and the photos will be printed and submitted for local art shows. This adds another layer of power and vulnerability - one we believe can ignite positive change in anyone viewing the art. All participants may be photographed in the process.

Autumn Releasing Ceremony
October 24, 2026 2 PM - 5 PM
Only for Women, Femme, and Non-binary Participants

Release is not an action but a state of being. Like the trees dropping leaves in Autumn, can we let go of our negative self talk or limiting beliefs of self with clarity, ease, and completion? Could this release compost into our lives providing the death and decay necessary for enrichment?
This ceremony will be lead by Kathryn Moretz. We will gather around a sacred fire circle to reflect on how negative self talk drains power, meaning, and vitality from life. Each person will be invited to create an ink from natural materials and then paint on their skin negative talk or beliefs they hold or were told to them by others. In a ceremonial procession filled with song and sacredness, we will walk to the Creek and wash these words from our skin to embody the Release. Afterwards, we will offer (secular) prayer and self care options to seal the power of Release.
