Fundraising Event
February 6, 2026 All Day at Fizz Ed Restaurant
Our beloved local farm was recently targeted by a racist hate crime and vandalism. We will come together, as a united community, to stand against this hate and celebrate the diversity, love, and solidarity that makes our hometown sacred. Fizz Ed in Boone is hosting a full day fundraiser for us and collecting sponsorships for larger donations.
Friday, February 6
Fizz Ed will donate a percentage of sales from 11am-midnight
5-8 pm Artist Vendor Market
5-7 Andy Page guitar
7-10 Artist Jam and post-jam Dance Party for Solidarity against Racism
We are also collecting matching donations from local businesses and community members who would like to help the farm with costly increased security measures. If you’d like to make a donation, please contact Amy at fizzEdBoone@gmail.com for details. Sponsors will be recognized at the event and leading up to it on social media, as well.
Life Skills Workshop
Intro to Carpentry
November 22, 2025 11AM - 3PM

This class is designed for folks who want to gain basic skills with woodworking. We will cover tools such as circle saw, drills, table saw, speed square, and level. Safety and planning will be covered throughout the class. Put your new skills to use helping make simple cuts for our farm barn updates. By the end of the workshop you’ll make confident cuts, learn some basic framing, and screw in boards for functional use!
Class will be taught by Jacob Crigler and Kara Dodson. Incorporating 10 years of carpentry experience and down to earth instruction, they will take the time to walk you through each step and help you feel empowered to build with wood!
Rain or sunshine event - we have indoor teaching space!
